With more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Bob Gillett has worked with many operators to open, develop, manage and/or improve numerous bars and restaurants in Austin. He developed Key Bar, 24 Diner, Easy Tiger, Italic and Irene's, among others.

Scott Hentschel oversees and implements overall business strategies, corporate governance, legal, real estate analysis and investor and community relations. He opened his first restaurant (Waterloo Ice House) in 1989 and grew the concept to seven locations, has consulted for Austin businesses (including Key Bar, Doc’s Motorworks, Mulberry, Austin Java Company and Austin Catering Company) and is co-founder of Franklin-Alan, a commercial construction company. Scott received his BA from Austin College and MBA from Texas A&M and has served on the board for People’s Community Clinic and the Sustainable Food Center.

Andrew Curren is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a valedictorian graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He worked with internationally renowned restaurateurs Danny Meyer and Jonathan Waxman while in NYC over a seven-year period, where he helped develop Barbuto and Madaleine Mae. He studied culinary arts and interned in Italy, Vietnam and Mexico. Drew is a two-time nominee for Food & Wine’s “People’s Best New Chef,” competed on “Top Chef: Texas” and is included in multiple editions of Best Chefs America.

Vincent Ashwill oversees fiscal discipline, IT systems, human resources and manager development. He has 25 years of management and operational experience in the restaurant industry and oversees the operations of 15 restaurants, including 24 Diner, Easy Tiger, Key Bar and Waterloo Ice House.

Lindsey Tullis joined ELM Restaurant Group in 2009 and has worked her way up through the ranks, filling nearly every front-of-house role and serving as 24 Diner's General Manager for two years before being promoted to the position of Director of Operations. The University of North Carolina (Wilmington) graduate oversees management development and training, culture and operations.

Matt Miller is ELM’s Director of Corporate Development and is responsible for managing and evaluating the company’s growth opportunities, overseeing the construction of new restaurants and attending to various financial duties. He received his BA from Stanford University and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Selected as one of the Top Ten bread bakers in the country by Dessert Professional Magazine, David Norman is the Head Doughpuncher and a partner at Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden. In nearly 30 flour-dusted years, his route has included stints at some of the country's best bread bakeries from Seattle (Grand Central Bakery) to New York City (TriBakery, Bouley Bakery) and included teaching professional bread courses at the French Culinary Institute and the San Francisco Baking Institute. David is currently hard at work writing Bread on the Table, a book on food and bread traditions due out Fall 2017 from Ten Speed Press.

Mary Catherine Curren is a graduate of the Baking and Pastry Arts program at the Culinary Institute of America in New York. She is the Executive Pastry Chef for 24 Diner, Italic and Irene's and creates all of the sweets we offer at our restaurants and special events. She's passionate about using local and seasonal ingredients, and her approach is clean and simple, focusing on a balance of flavors and textures that really allow the product to shine.

Master Sommelier Craig Collins serves as Beverage Director for the group. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Court of Master Sommeliers and frequently serves as a featured speaker and judge at wine and food festivals across the country.

Service Director Mark Devin Sayre has close to 20 years of front-of-house industry experience, most recently serving as Beverage Director for the Four Seasons – Austin. Mark earned the title of “Texas’ Best Sommelier” in 2007 and was named one of the country’s “Top New Sommeliers” in 2010 from Wine & Spirits magazine.

KAYLA FRENCH is our Events Director, coordinating all parties, private functions and buy-outs. After a notable food & beverage tenure at Four Seasons Hotel – Austin, she began her career with ELM as a manager before making the move to event planning. High-profile partnerships to date include the New York Times, TuneIn Radio, Facebook and Google.

Chad Gluckson is our "Do Good Ambassador," whose role is building relationships in the community. He's also responsible for programming music for ELM with live acts, DJs and his personal vinyl library. Chad performs as half the DJ duo TYTE ⚡STRIPES and is an avid walker, high-fiver, beer drinker and robe wearer in his free time.

Evelyn Sher is ELM’s exclusive marketing, social media and public relations guru - who also works behind the scenes as our in-house proofreader, graphic designer and webmaster. A Tulane honors graduate, she is the former editor of Austin Monthly magazine and serves on the Advisory Council for the Austin Food Blogger Alliance.
